  • il admit this car is gorgeous :D but whats the point in making a huge 6L v8 petrol a hybrid :/ why not just fit a smaller engine with a hybrid motor ? this car will only get around 15mpg even with the hybrid

  • @jamie123gers believe it or not, having driven them, they do get the 20 mpg the sticker claims ASSUMING you don't drive this with a lead foot... =) Also the other advantage to consider is that your emmisions are reduced significantly when you opt for the Hybrid. Thanks for chiming in and watching!

  • Hell Yeah... I want this shit!

  • @GMmaxim We're on Topanga and Erwin in Woodland Hills, CA when you're ready...

  • These Platinum editions are INCREDIBLE.

now i do say, i miss the Cooled rear seats that were available in the previous model Platinums and the overhead captains chairs power folding buttons they removed for 2010, but this truck is amazing, NOT A OPTION LEFT OUT, these are the best of the best. Hybrid or not, id marry her.

  • @adnamarie Awsome! Glad you like it. This is luxury at it's finest. I could sleep like a baby on this leather!

  • how much is a hybird?

  • Lose the green "H" on the C pillar.

It just looks out of place.

  • fucking american dream :) nice! cadillac forever

  • I only not like the fact in ALL HYBRID SUV's that they don't have the split seat in the second roll.....its all in one peace so u actually have to stop to move people back and for between the second and the 3rd roll, sorry but that's lame.....

  • @adnamarie On the lower dash and lower doors you'll find rough plastic. It's also in the third row and the trunk. They didn't even bother to keep padding for an armrest in the third row and the trunk hatch and plastic sides of the trunk area scratch very easily.

  • @CTSVKINGWAGON i agree the price is very high, and i have been in one since the video, a platinum esv.

GM goes cheap on things where we cant see, i know this for a fact, and its mainly because of the union cost tallied into the vehicles msrp, so where they recoup the cost is lower grade materials/parts where we arent looking/touching.

but where exactly are you talking about?

  • @Corvette90100 Cheaper in price, not quality and interior... The Q7 is much better than the Escalade Platinum, you won't regret it.

  • @adnamarie The Platinum edition is incredible until you see the price. The interior has EXTREMELY soft leather over all the upper surfaces, but the lower surfaces have materials that aren't even in 15k cars anymore. The best I can say is that it's mid-luxury. Many competitors offer more for at least 10k less.

  • @jamie123gers I own one of these and I can back up the sticker claims. Even with a lead foot, I get at least 18 mpg at all times and 19-20 if I drive normally. The engine's cylinder deactivation on the freeway tends to keep it in 4 cylinder mode unless you put your foot down, so the engine's size doesn't have an effect on efficiency.

  • @jamie123gers I own one and the lowest I can manage is 18 mpg. Around town and on the highway 20-21. The V8 only uses 4 cylinders most of the time so it's like having a small engine until you put your foot down or tow something.
