The Kentland Fire Department is 100% volunteer and has won awards every year for saving lives. You can find their Series at www.TheBattalion.tv This is one of the few fire companies in the world where firefighters live in the station house 365 days a year.

  • Awesome .. I'd love to spend even a month their .. Let alone 5 years

  • I admire vollies a lot, but I wish the guys in Kentland were more careful... Wearing eye protection during extrication and proper gear at incidents just avoids accidents... Better be safe than sorry

    Stay safe

  • @jtweller11 whoa they do put on their self contained breathing apparatus no matter what so stop ragging on these guys they are volunteer firefighters you must be talking about the career firefighters go to the battalion.tv and see how they do their stuff and i gaurantee they do things right not like some career firehouses they are on crowded streets like the new york fire department in new york they have to put on sirens when they go to a fire
