  • Interesting two, nice capture.

  • @kclama Thanks, a teenAge African SulcataTortoise (3rd largest species) & a teenage California Desert Torotise both adopted & live in separate enclosures. Both will double in size when they reach adulthood...

The African needs a shelter with a pigBlanket (pigHeatingPad) in winter. The Calif. DesertTortoise hibernates underground thru winter.... ; )

  • Our baby tort will be huge and ravenous someday...Can't wait...

    Loved the video!

  • @Rolandbv Yes, Buffy isn't even in her twentys & like elephants they love to graze. These are the smartest tortoises I've ever had the pleasure to care for. You'll luv yours2. Can't wait to see it as big as Buffy! Tooter is a California tort & my most active out of three. The others are still hibernating. You'll see them soon when April showers end & the weather gets over 80 degrees.
