How to use TOR (the onion router) with IRC
All commands from the video:
sudo nano -w /etc/apt/sources.list
Add:
deb http://deb.torproject.org/torproject.org karmic main
Close and save
gpg --keyserver keys.gnupg.net --recv 886DDD89
gpg --export A3C4F0F979CAA22CDBA8F512EE8CBC9E886DDD89 | sudo apt-key add -
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install tor tor-geoipdb
TOR should be auto-started and listening on port 9050 - after that configure your IRC program accordingly and chat anonymously :)

@asgardharmony Well I know Esper.Net has banned it, and I think Dal.Net as well. But don't worry since the big IRC networks are not allowing IP rerouting there's a chance that they don't allow key logging or any other type of malicious activity. You *should* only use it when in those tiny IRC networks that you see less than 50 channels, big networks wouldn't let a hacker ease his tools in there. Lol.

@asgardharmony LOL, Yes there is a Tor for everyone, and don't forget you can configure Tor with more than just an IRC. But these seem to be the most popular settings. =D
