Mercury is almost a precious metal nowadays; that's why they run those programs where they'll give you a brand new digital thermometer for a mercury one; the mercury in it is worth more than a new thermometer just for the scrap value.

Dead end.

And thank you guys for over 3000 views, i'm so glad i made this video, i did try and make it look like it was made in the 70's, not sure if i did a good job, but still hope you enjoyed the video, and watched it to see the mercury get to the middle,
thank you, from James Cassidy

In the UK they were sold as MERCURY MAZE, i use to have a photo of the box with this toy, but it got deleted, the box was black with stars, like the image of out of space, with the words MERCURY MAZE, and a little plastic window so you can see the toy,

had it, loved it, always had to get it to the centre before I could pit it down.

I think it's easier if you warm the mercury up a bit first. I used to whizz it around the edge like in a centrifuge.
