Mercury Maze 1978

Does anyone remember this mercury maze game in 1978? it wasn't an easy game to play, but they will never remake this game due to the mercury. anyway, i hope i have made this feel and look like the 1970's i added kate bush "WOW" to the video as it was in the charts in the same year please add your comments

i have three of these mercury maze one is still it's original box i would like to say at least one of them was mine from the 70's but none of them are which is ashame anyway i bought these games on ebay because i remember having the mercury maze when i was a kid and as an adult i spent years looking for one and then one day all three were for sell by the same guy so i bought them and then made a video for people to see what they were like back then

Mercury is almost a precious metal nowadays; that's why they run those programs where they'll give you a brand new digital thermometer for a mercury one; the mercury in it is worth more than a new thermometer just for the scrap value.

In the UK they were sold as MERCURY MAZE, i use to have a photo of the box with this toy, but it got deleted, the box was black with stars, like the image of out of space, with the words MERCURY MAZE, and a little plastic window so you can see the toy,

I think it's easier if you warm the mercury up a bit first. I used to whizz it around the edge like in a centrifuge.
