Yes Bush, we know the history of Communist countries, dont explain it to us, or the veterans who fought in it! I believe the Vietnam war was a waste of time, although we did save many Vietnamese from dieing we also killed millions.

I doubt Mush read Greene's slim novel, but his born-again script writer surely got the wrong lesson from The Quiet American. Naivete can lead to disaster for the locals and the invader/masters. The better analogy is both were wars of choice for the US. Finally, the Iraqi refugee crisis which is not covered in the US outweighs the boat-people exodus.
