hell yeah the Is This It tone is partly what made me fall in love with The Strokes as well as inspired me to pick up a guitar =)

Ive been trying to nail that tone, but this mg100hdfx can hit it.

It prolly needs more of a fender clean (tube is a plus or must im guessing)

Its a plus you got the Rivera xD im left handed so ive gotten a hollow body with soapbar p-90's, almost there.

Eventually im trying to get a hot rod deluxe or deville 212, plus the jekyll & hyde.

I love the tone from is this it man. Ive always loved your covers. Glad you are back^^

Im using a Fender Hotrod Deville 410 tube amp and for the pedal Visual Sound Jekyll & Hyde ultimate overdrive. Basically same setup as the is this it strokes era, minus the MXR pedal. The difference is they use there amps on the clean channel. I use my channel on the overdrive which gives it to me a more raw, vintage/classic, richer and slightly dirtier tone.
