We got rid of Saddam. Everything else was by will of the Iraqi people. They elected their own government, drew up their own constitution, and are in the slow process of keeping peace. Can you name for me one country in transition, from dictatorship, to democracy that was stable in such a short period of time? We didn't impose a government for them, we allowed it to happen

We allowed it to happen. Yes. We provided the framework and they did the rest. The majority of people there want freedom, the religoius nuts don't. They are gonna do whatever they see fit to make sure that the people don't have freedom. That is the problem over there right now.

Although the Revolutionary war, the constitutional convention and ratification are events that were dealt with by Americans for american (for the most part) not Imposed by a foreing power.
