  • I love me some Margovallen !!! thanks so much sweetie !!!you tell it girl !!!!you the queen of the Hop !!! big hugs !!! Scotty

  • Pretty good playing for what it is. Majorly expressive? Hell no! And I don't care for a steady diet of it. Porter Wagner hair, Fender clean with an over-whelming reverb. Doesn't speak to my soul. Nerve-racking! Copying songs note-for-note kinda takes away from the intention per the blues. If it was boring as hell the first time around, why would it be any better? With some players, blues is the choice because somebody thought it was an easy style in which to shine. Not the case, if done right.

  • @margovallen Thanks sweetheart , i thank you for your opinion , Big hugs , Scotty

  • who is that cool cat on the strat ??? sounds F-ing AWSOME =O

  • sour bends and same licks over and over again :(

  • @TEXASFENDERBENDER Yes? Well, I have 2 ears.. so there! I'm not 'struggling' to say anything. I'm not the one wearing Depends :-)

"Expressive" in this dialogue, has nothing to do with making faces. Are you sure you've ever gotten more than 3 blocks from your own home? ..... You have, just not without your helmet, right?

Heres your first guitar lesson : "This is the pick."..

Ok see you next Saturday.. and try to be on time, ok? Thanks! Hahaha!

  • @teebeeferris You're welcome, honey. I never said I didn't like Anson.. just there are some I prefer over him. Anson would understand that perfectly.

I bet "TEXASFENDERBENDER" has high auto insurance premiums.. lol!

  • @TEXASFENDERBENDER No dictionary, sweetie. But, I will admit that when I'm doing my research and study, I sometimes will have to refer to a dictionary. If my glass is half-empty.. it's 'only' half-empty. Warranted to justify my having an opinion? I had expressed that opinion 3 months ago. You all of a sudden make some snide, condescending remark to me.. because of my opinion. Look mister! You're not going to turn the table on me here. I'm not feeling "warranted" to do a darn thing. Get a life!

  • @margovallen OK. Miss Einstein you are clearly my intellectual better and have a dictionary open as you respond so lets just put this one to rest. Its all relative Baby your glass half empty ...mine half full. You seem to feel warranted to justify having an opinion which psychologically is a clear act of defense. It all slides off my back and my feelings aren't hurt one way or another. Gate-mouth Brown once called B.B King "One Dimensional And Boring".So much for anyone's opinion.

  • @TEXASFENDERBENDER "Ignorance" means 'unaware of'.. or 'lack of knowledge in'.. so, you're sadly mistaken, sir. How can we have an intelligent dialogue if you're going to utilize terms you don't know their meanings? We simply cannot. I don't use terms that I don't know their meanings.. and surely do not make up my own definitions. How asinine.

You know, when a masterful artist paints a masterpiece, not everyone who looks at it is going to like it. It's all about perspective and personal tastes.

  • @TEXASFENDERBENDER Sweetheart, you've misunderstood. I wasn't speaking of anyone being better in the simplistic elementary way in which you seem to think.. but, I am speaking of the whole package.. the whole delivery and all it's elements. Everything from volume, tone, phrasing, licks, feel, runs, vibrato, dynamics.... overall virtuosity.

People like Eric Clapton, Johnny Winter Robben Ford, Joe Bonomassa are all much better deliverers/player.

I know its not about competition, per se.. but

  • @margovallen Your statement betrays your ignorance on the matter,. People who truly understand the art of music realize it is not about competition but true expression. Oddly a term you tend to like to use but obviously have your own definition. Each artist imparts their own soul and spirit into a piece of music just as surely as a masterful painter breathes through each stroke of his brush. To turn this into an inane argument about who kicks whose ass in childish and where I respectfully exit.
