  • Everyday I take visitor's through Downtown LA including a pass over the LA river, I like to point out the locations at the river where LA began. The tourists laugh as they see the concrete lined passage more famous in the movies for auto chases and racing scenes!

  • Thank you so much!

There is so much happening with our river - from the city's Master Revitalization Plan, to all that the many river organizations are doing - too many to name here! Visionaries come in all sizes/shapes/roles!

  • Excellent documentary on one of the most important events in the struggle to reclaim the LA watershed. Congratulations to the intrepid visionaries, including Magic Pebble, and finally the EPA's decision to declare the River navigable and thus protected under the Clean Water Act.

Unfortunately the river is still treated as a cesspool by LA. We now need true enforcement of the Clean Water Act.
