Did God Create Evil?

Since God created all things, some have been tempted to believe He also created evil. Is this true?

I guess you have to explain to me if knowledge of evil is not before creation of evil. All that is created comes first from God's knowledge.If you read what I said God by knowledge put evil forth as knowledge man powerless by flesh did evil. But man cannot create evil neither can Satan there is nothing by attribute or knowledge not first begun by God.Unless you can explain otherwise, instead of just saying creating evil by knowledge its not evil begining.No virtue good or bad can man create

@polopowers1 Perhaps you need to watch the video before commenting? I explain how God did not create evil at all. It's the absence of Him that causes evil to come to be. Satan is credited with creating evil in the sense that he was the first rebel against God which in turn caused evil to be born in his heart. Plus, he was in the tree of "good and evil" proving he was evil before that tree was made. And I never said man created anything. So, again, please watch the video before commenting.

God created the tree of knowledge of good and evil, He called it good. we all have knowledge of evil we would not do, that is not innately part of our virtue.God created evil knowledge man consummed that knowledge and because man is flesh was powerless to evil. God is responsible He chose sin to be part of revealing His extolled Nature. Evil is not an innate virtue of God. But an attribute used.God is not the opposite of evil He is superior to all virtue good or bad. He is not law by Nature

@polopowers1 creating the knowledge of evil is not creating evil. As for God not being law by Nature. Not sure what you're getting at there. However, His law is something that was created to bless obedient man with a better life. This is not to say that because He created His law that He created evil. His law just educates or grants us the knowledge of what's evil.

First of all, I am a born again Christian. And thinking of evil this way is not good since any educated atheist can destroy a point like this using the Bible as a proof. God clearly says that : "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. " Isaiah 45:7 . Truth is God indirectly has appointed (predestined) evil to exist. But God uses secondary means (humans,fallen angels, devil) to bring it about, WITH A GOOD PURPOSE, His own glory.

God is imaginary. But the fictional being known as god is evil. You can't find an evil act that he's not done, ordered, or condoned, at least not in the top 10 list of most evil deeds.

No...to believe EVIL is simply the lack of good is completely stupid. Seriously. Is Pluto's moon Nix..good? Well it doesn't do anything good. So it must be EEVIL! give me a break. It's called neutral. Good and bad and neutral. Evil is willful bad, which is what Yahweh does. Get an education, theists.

@ukgreaterlondon No it is not. But in the last days it will become illegal to build a real Christian church. For example, it's already difficult for Christian pastors that refuse to get a 501C3 for their church. Those of us that refuse know it's a prophetic event that speaks of how the false Christian churches were to join with the government. Because we refuse we find it difficult to get bank accounts. We are also charged extra fees to use online banking without it.
