  • Can it run smoothly on XPS M1530 with 8600M GT too? I am getting that laptop. But not convinced since many people say laptop isn't for games. I travel and in between traveling I would like to play games so I am stuck with a laptop.

  • If you have the 8600M GT, you can play the game for sure.

And playing between traveling is awesome!

    :D

  • I have Geforce 8600m, but ill wait with buying crysis til i get a better pc someday.

  • Hey, what laptop brand do you have?

  • HP Pavillion Dv9500

  • It looks nice.

I started looking for how can i change my laptop graphics card, and i think you can. You can get a 9800M if you want. It all depends on how the graphics card is attached to the laptop.

  • hey do think this would run on a macbook with an 8600m gt running windows 7?

  • to be honest if you would just turn off anti aliasing it would run so much smoother... you can play it on 1024x768 resolution with medium setting, AA off Vsync off and optionally you can turn off motion blur. it helps a bunch for the frame rate. I played through Crysis and Crysis Warhead twice on my XPS m1530

  • Wow. That is not smooth. I'm glad I opted for my 3650 rather than the 8600M GT, with the 8600M's high failure rate and all. Plus, the 3650 performs a bit better for the same sort of price range.

  • this lags :S

  • you cant with HP laptops.

all HP Laptops have motherboard intergrated GPUs so u cant replace it.

i have a Mobility Radeon HD 4530 in my laptop and wanted to replace it but i couldnt cause it was HP

  • i have 8600m gs and i use win7 ultimate x64

i have only 256mb and the max graphic card's memory is 512mb. please help me.

    pss: i cant use rivatuner

do i need to install win xp on my pc?

  • best line:

    "Im British you muppet!" "Catch"

    pffhaaahahahaaahahaa. Thats the way forward!!!!

  • Yeah, it should be something else... check ur other hardware configs.. if it's not the same as this guy has.. than u wont have the same performance.. this doesnt mean that even if it is the same..it will perform the same..but it should be around the same level.

  • lol i have a hp pavillion dv6000

    pretty good

4GB RAM intel core 2 duo....

but i have geforce 8400M GS

good but rly rly bad lol

any ideas how i could get a £70-£80 graphics card better than it?

  • U sure? I was talking to a computer tech guy and he was telling me that technically you can remove it and put in a new one, u just need to know how to remove the soldered graphics card and solder in a new one. BUT it's not at all recommended that u do that unless u know exactly what u're doing.
