I read somewhere, that producers deliberately made Charice look less adorable to keep Lea happy. I admit, that hairstyle of hers doesn't flatter her at all, it does the opposite. But if the producers think what their plan worked, then they're in for a surprise. Even if Charice didn't have the Chasters to bolster her popularity ratings, it wouldn't matter, cuz as soon as she opens her mouth and sings, you forget every perceived flaw and just bask in the moment. And that's why she's a star.
