This video is made to encourage people to support President Obama's agenda. We need to work together to fix this country.

The music is from Democratic Republic of Congo sang by papa Wemba the king of Congolese rumba in TETELA the language of a Congolese national HERO the great Patrice Emery LUMUMBA. The title of the song is ANALENGO.

  • Per pupil spending (adjusted for inflation) across the nation is higher than ever. Yet have the outputs (students ready for the world) improved dramatically? I doubt anyone will say they have.

Federal spending on education (again adjusted) has more than doubled over the past 2-3 decades. The question then is what good does the US Dept of Education do? Again, when most decisions are made at the county/state level, what purpose does the Dept of Ed do?

  • I grew up in a small, working class town and saw those life had thrown a curve ball. But also saw those who wasted their time and money on alcohol and drugs. Wasting their lives. Will more govt spending fix that problem when people are ruining their own lives? Again no.

Education-people look to the Pres to solve education when the vast majority (about 90%) of funding comes from the state and local level. Decisions are made at that level.
