Please so not give wrong arguments. When we go to Qabistan we say "Assalamualikum Ya ehlal Qaboor". SO THE SALAM IS NOT ONLY FOR THE LIVING ITS ALSO FOR THE DEAD. Also the problem is that people think that The Holy Prophet Sallallaho Ali hi wa aalihi wassalam is present every where and hears whateve we say. But this is the quality of Allah Sub Hanahu Ta aala. And this is what the ulema say that this thing is wrong so please doa sk an aalim or mufti on this

Assalamualaikum my brothers and sisters of Islam. I heard it's wrong to say Ya Wajhi as it means as if the prophet is present in this world which he isn't. Please explain

It is not wrong to say YA Wajih as the prophets are still alive but we cannot see them. It is just like the case of martyrs and the status of prophets is above martyrs. We say in every prayer Assalam o Alaika ayu ha nabiyu ..
meaning that salam be on the prophet and salam is only for one livings
