Holy Crap 4:31AM is also the same time that the 2008 New Madrid 5.2 quake went off.

@JehovahSaveUs I actually live in Nor CA and we see 6.7 quakes as moderate quakes. God Knows what would happen if the 6.7 quake was in Washington DC. also Imperial Valley and Eureka would see this as moderate quakes BTW a 7.1 quake hit alaska yesterday.

@recto89 ... True.. but your earthquakes are deep where are earthquakes are very shallow..so that is why 6.7 too you is not that strong, where as here much of our earthquakes are 2-3 miles deep.. yours are 15-30 miles deep/.//

@edgarsaenz I know in Chile, Japan, Alaska, and Indonesia 6.7 is tiny.

My sister who was just about 3 mos. old at the time had woken up crying right before this. My mom was giving her a bottle and I was still in bed but awake. Then it hit. Everything went everywhere, but we all were okay. Have continued to live through many more earthquakes although none that big.

The epicenter was less than a mile from my house!
