  • Wts up with the Chris guy! Looks like he only trains his legs.

  • @GentryJ20 you mean powerlifter women

  • bodybuilder women... /vomit

  • @yuppyguitar1 They dont attempt a heavier weight because of many reasons. 1) they dont want to burn out ( its always good to leave some in the tank) 2) In louies book ( this is all i have to really go on ) he says when doing max effort go to 90% then 105 or 110% and then maybe 1 more lift and move untop something else. Elite powerlifters take a long time to warm up and longer to recover, also they are always prepareing for meets. Worst thing that can happen is missing a lift weeks before a meet.

  • yes, smelly or mark bell

  • @skamerjosh There are ladies in this vid?

  • @yuppyguitar1 they're going fast because when you squat and you go down to slow its going to be a lot harder to get up so you go at a pretty good speed but not too fast and you come up. its just something your going to have to get used to. also they cant keep going up in weight because they'll destroy there central nervous system and plus they're going high also trying to break in they/re suit

  • Maybe a powerlifter could explain this to me, but when I approach my 1RM

, the bar moves more and more slowly, but when I watch these elite powerlifters 1RM, the moves quickly. If they can move it that fast at that weight, why aren't they successfully attempting a heavier weight on the next set ?

  • 1:51 mark's built in hydraulic system
