This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard played by Andy McKee. Candyrat knows what's good!

Dependant Arising by Sir Andy McKee
played by Welter Rasmussen

Tuning is EBDGBD partial capo 6th-3rd string on 5th fret.
I'm using Dean Markley Alchemy strings for this Video.
The Guitar is a Takamine Santa Fe, PSF-48C

ADD &fmt=18 TO THE END TO WATCH IT IN STEREO

  • It looks like you're using a Kyser Quick-change capo. How did you get it to cover only the bottom four strings? Mine doesn't stay on if I try that.

  • Mine wouldn't stay either... I cut a piece of lollipop stick and slid in between that silicone piece and the metal that grabs the back of the guitar neck, then I was able to slide out the whole thing about a 1/4 in., worked sort of a extention d;-}

    Take care brow,

    Welter

  • Amazing. Question though. Mckee's website says the song in capo relative to strings 6-3 and that looks like what your doing too. But your description says 6-4. Just a mistake?

  • Opps! IT really is 6th to 3rd string. I guess I had "4 strings" stuck in my mind.

    Thanks for catching that, I will correct the description.

    Take care

    Welter
