Evolving Bob

This is a small collection of the progress footage that went into creating my Only Bob, my latest AMV (available here: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members/members_videoinfo.php?v=170400).

Not sure if there's really anything to learn from this, but I thought it was interesting that so much of my time was spent actually doing test shots just to learn with Blender was capable of.

How much RAM is needed not to make that program lag and stuff?

Make it lag? Or do you mean not lag. I'm working with a Petium E660 dual core with 4GB of RAM. During the modelling and animation stage, there's practically no lag. During rendering though, the CPU is what gets the hammering (some frames took 7 minutes to render).

I see, because what you did looked so cool I thought I'd try it. I also have 4GB RAM so maybe it'll be fine.

You'll definitely be fine with that.  I remember first working with Blender back when I was working with my Intel Centrino, 256RAM laptop and that worked then (albeit, in the end, I needed the help of several other friends' computers to do the rendering, otherwise it would have taken a bit too long).
