one question, after watching this again....Why did the Dr. say no to the Nurse when they asked if the Dr. wanted suction? Just curious as to why the Dr. didn't want the discharge to be suctioned up....

oh my...that was just from a sore throat and a bad cold?...I truly hope you are feeling better now...that was a lot of drainage. Thanks for sharing your experience with us.

That person shouldn't say "eww" because isn't that what they are going into that medical field for? They shouldn't be disgusted...there are way more horrific things than that abscess.
