Hi raypogi, I reviewed the footage with Jackie Lou Blanco's short interview with Gary after the song:
Jackie: "..it's your first single, 'no?"
Gary: "Yes my very first single..."
Jackie: "under Blackgold"
Gary: "Blackgold."
I am not sure if he had other recording labels before Blackgold, but this interview is where I got the info for my description :) Thanks for your comment.
