I know it's late but I was still recovering from Surgery. I managed to see the Happening and even though I failed to warn enough to people to prevent it's box office success there are still plenty of other people I must warn. Fury of the film fan gives the Happening NO FURY award.

Good review. After seeing Lady in the Water, I'm gonna avoid The Happening and The Last Airbender like the plague. I thought Lady in the Water was very underrated (so was The Village). His first three films (The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, and Signs) were GREAT. Signs will be my favorite film from M. Night Shyamalan

@MrKrevlornswath I think that the most notable part of the Twilight Zone reference is the "30 minute" part. In half an hour they can work in edge-of-the-seat suspense, dramatic tension, and a satisfying conclusion that answers the questions posed by the plot. This movie, which was well over 30 minutes, couldn't.

This movie's premise might have been better suited to being an episode of something like Outer Limits or the Twilight Zone, actually.

Everything in this movie is absolutely HILARIOUS. For pure entertainment value, it's honestly one of the funniest movies I've ever seen.
