Knifty Knitter people have come up with a solution to this. They sell something right next to the knitters called an easy weave tool which functions the same as this tool would but is only about 2 inches long and makes it MUCH easier to use, rather than destroying a pen.
I LOVE this idea! It looks a little difficult to load yarn through the pen with the ink tube & not get ink on the yarn while pushing it through the tube... I'm going to try loading the styler pen with multi-strands with the plastic "darning" needle that came with the set- thread the needle first with 2 or 3 strands, then drop it down the tube till it comes out the bottom. Then just pop the needle off and go! Hope it works- will let you know! Thanks for your awesome videos, they rock! =)
If you do get burrs on the styler,try using a nail file to sand the burr off. That is what I did with my old clear bid pen which is now my nifty little styler. :o)
