I totally agree with you. When I received my palettes, I was STOKED out of my mind that I just basically praised them to high Heavens. But after using them for a few months, I wish they were a bit more pigmented and that the pans were deeper.

RJ, my love, thank you SO much for your HONEST opinion of this palette. I purchased the 88 neutral palette from CS (because I'm still REALLY scared of the bright colors...LOL). It had some mattes and some shimmers, but, as with the shimmer palette, there were several duplicate colors. Also, while it is pigmented, I do have to build the color, especially if I'm going out at night and want a more dramatic look. I would purchase it again, but it's not like mana from Heaven or anything! LOL XOXO
