@HunterMann IM pretty sure nothignis hooked to a bumper. And I said snatch not jerk... Either way that is what the straps are made for. I have beed a off roader most of my life. I would know. Now recovery with a winch is a little different. You dont need a snatch strap.

@boobies1989 You take two years to reply to my comment?LOL I have pulled dozens of even big RVs & tour buses out of deep sand in Mexico, Florida, Hawaii, etc. Jerk straps are for jerks. Anyone who knows about RV frames & bumpers is not going to jerk them like that. It's all engineering & planning. People get in a hurry and they fail. Proper planning with this RV pull out would have taken 20 minutes of planning, 10 minutes to rig, 1 minute to tow it to firm ground. Epic fail!

@boobies1989 BS about what? That I was there at the lake? That I don't know how to properly deal with a very basic, simple tow like this?
-
@jlwftl truck is built for it. Shut up dumbass you dont know anything.
-
@HunterMann you can see the damn thing leaning over because theres a washout so shut the fuck up and YES you are supposed to jerk them like that. Its called a snatch strap. Strap acts like a rubber band and pulls the stuck car or truck out.

that sound right at 0:55 sounds a little....well listen to it :-D
Hey trucker dude, Getting a running start with loose tow line is NOT the way to do this. I was at the lake that day too. It turned out that the RV had it's parking brake on and the right rear tire still had a wheel chuck in place. Silly camper folks...They are tourists not travelers.
