  • Thank you, you rock!!!

I've now started using it and like you said it so easy.

  • post backs are not so bad, it is just a case of remembering to include all the hidden fields.. been using mvc for over a year now and so far so good. I don't think it is a scary pattern for a dev, it has been around on Ruby and Java for a while now, just another patent pending Microsoft wheel really.

  • @leonheartdsl would not say scary, to me he came off as arrogant.

  • creepy. i think he lures young programmers into using mvc and then kills them. why else would he be saying "there is no reason to be afraid"?

  • Too many "ah"s.... very distracting...

  • Wow, hopefully by 2011 some of those cons are gone as they are in other web frameworks. eg. Django templates allows paging and sorting. I personally love Regex, it can make your URL look much cleaner when you take parameters from the URL. eg. /blog/2011/1/23.

  • It is Like doing CGI PERL..uh what a pain

  • No I'd mangling? I still see that when using master pages with page elements with runt server. How do you keep that from happening?

  • is MVC set to replace webforms and the page model as we know it?
