In Today's critique Craig discusses the use of neutral density to imply motion. Craig also talks about working in monochrome when shooting the grand landscape in flat light. Craig discusses leading line, s curves, and working with local contrast adjustments to create visual balance and to slow down the journey of the viewer through your image by creating more of an illusion of form. If you are interested in more information about Singh-Ray's Vari ND neutral density filter please vist: http://www.singh-ray.com/varind.html

  • I think the horizon is too high, crop off the bottom third, thus removing that heavy dark corner on the right hand and you will see a dramatic difference in the flow of the composition yet still retain that beautiful wave action.

  • People like you I despise....it was a beautiful photograph as is before the heavy post processing...

  • greetings from Costa Rica, great critic !
