In Today's critique Craig discusses the use of neutral density to imply motion. Craig also talks about working in monochrome when shooting the grand landscape in flat light. Craig discusses leading line, s curves, and working with local contrast adjustments to create visual balance and to slow down the journey of the viewer through your image by creating more of an illusion of form. I think the horizon is too high, crop off the bottom third, thus removing that heavy dark corner on the right hand and you will see a dramatic difference in the flow of the composition yet still retain that beautiful wave action.
