"Guantanamera" is a song of Guantánamo, the name of a province and town at the eastern end of the island of Cuba. It was composed in 1928 by José Fernández Díaz for a poem by José Marti. "Guantanamera" is a song about compassion and humility, particularly that found among the poor.
This is a very literal, visual presentation of the song.
