Islam is engaged in literal jihad in over 30 places on the earth today. Somalia will fall soon. You are one voice and the evidence of Islams true intentions drown you out. MOderate Muslims at some point will have to chose, radicalize or die. Where Muslims dominate Sharia law is established and secular kafir law falls by the way. For kafir it's Convert, pay tax and be 2nd class citizen or die. As long as the western governments rule sharia law is not allowed and in my opinion never should be.

@speakoutbrad yeah i know it was meant to interpreted literally, and did you also know that the qur'an was edited by later caliphs? no religious leader tells his followers to innovate their own religion ... but the point is that moderate Muslims aren't reading it literally ... much as moderate Christians and Moderate Jews don't read the Bible and Torah literally to the point where we treat women as property (read the Torah to find that). Secular liberal principles have overtaken those ...

when the shit hits the fan the literalism of Islam will hit youu also. Mohammad dictated the book in his life time and abrogated the moderate versus for far more radical and intolerant ones. the koran is placed in it's text from longest to shortest. that's why moderate versuses show up with intolerant and intolerant versuses. you may have read it, but you didn't understand it. The Hadith is literal not figurative. When he said spread islam by killing and lying he meant it.

@speakoutbrad trust me I've read the qur'an and the hadiths ... Islam doesn't do any of those things. Sharia allows women divorce rights, property, forbids honor killings, and grants Christians and Jews some protection. Do they always obey it? Of course not, case in point, the Taliban and Al Qaeda. Islam is conservative compared to liberal democracies. But talking about sharia is like saying Jews are dangerous because Deuteronomy restricts women. Moderate (read most) read Sharia liberally.

@andybluecollar yeah that's a group of radical extremists ... not all muslims. should we judge christianity by the fundamentalist militant Hutarese or Jews by the Irgun? Absolutely not, and that's exactly why judging Islam in this way is both paranoid and ignorant.
