You see, Blastoise is called Kamex in Japan (カメックス) which one might confuse for camera (カメラ). So how do you preserve a pun like that in English?
Did he say "Masker"?

  • This is kind of like the "Torchic, use AMBER!" -mushroom flies by- moment in Hoenn.

    I think that was because the Japanese word for ember sounds like the Japanese word for "mushroom" so in the Japanese version, May got the words confused and a mushroom flew past.
