My friends all tell me every chance they get
That I'm nothing but a fool
If I don't find some way to go on living
And get out and over you
But they don't understand that
No matter where I am or what I do
Or who I do it with, I'll always wish that I
Was doing it with you
When the lights are all bright
When the lights are down low
In a room full of friends
When there's no one I know
No matter where I may go
Some things never change
I'm in an old familiar place
With an old familiar pain
I sit here in my favorite easy chair
In my favorite old blue jeans
And reminisce about the good old times we had
When you were still in love with me
And every now and then, I get up
To straighten up another picture frame
Oh, there's something kind of comforting in knowing
Every day will be the same
When the lights are all bright
When the lights are down low
In a room full of friends
When there's no one I know
No matter where I may go
Some things never change
I'm in an old familiar place
With an old familiar pain
It's an old familiar place
And an old familiar pain
@PopCulture20 Not sure, but, ya CAN call the number, and ask 'em 'bout it.

@DaveWollenberg How much did they charge you for each of their books?
PopCulture20 8 months ago
@PopCulture20 Sure do, pop, It's Record Research, Inc. 262-251-5408. Call 'em, M-F 8a-12p, and, 1p-5p, central time. My guess is that the staff eats lunch all together, durin' that hour. Ask 'em 'bout the Country Annual, and their current Top Country singles books. Have a great week. God bless ya!

@DaveWollenberg Hey Dave do you still have that # where I could reach the offices for the Joel Whitburn because I'm going out of my mind not having any of those books in my grasp, & on top of that, I don't even know what they look like to know what I'm buying!!!!! This is so frustrating and I'm so pissed off that none of these stores don't wanna distribute these books anymore!!!!

This song should've charted much higher than it did. RH only hit #40 in Billboard, 4-11-92. God bless!
