At 4:45, it sounds like Dan Davis, the legendary BC football announcer/ESPN Radio sportscaster, on the voice over.
-
Yes. Keith had been at the station since the late '70s I believe, but served as lead sports anchor between Don Gillis' retirement and Mike Lynch's arrival.
-
@bakerandbaker1 there are several stations across the country who have not changed their channel number style/font i.e. WPVI, WSVN, just to name a couple off the top of my head.
-
That Looks like Keith Olbermann who later went to KTLA and KCBS in LA in the 1990's and then went national.
-
That was probably THE best "anthem" for a TV station!
-
Hard to believe that channel five channel number has never chnaged.
-
Yup!
-
@kresblain the Jackpot music that sounds like the Torgo music...
-
Ahh, the sweet voice of Ernie Anderson.
The voice of ABC pitching its affiliate WCVB, no matter if its a promo, or news open
On the last slide, is that Keith Olbermann who is between Nat and Chet?
