is it true that a twin turbo is better for a v6 engine? why go single turbo when a twin turbo kit is only about $1,000 more? just wondering because im in the market for a z and not sure if im gonna go single or twin turbo

@djmix4ya
Depends on your horsepower goals. Definitely, a twin turbo set up is the way to go. On a stock block, either will suffice. PowerLab is one of the best single turbo setups with room to grow on a built block. I'll be posting up vids of my built block dyno runs by the end of May early June 2010. Looking forward to 530-550 rwtq. For a stock DE don't push more than 400 torque for reliability.

Should be tunning next month at protech in Austin, Texas. This is your out of the box Powerlab GT35R Single Turbo Kit w/600cc injectors. Looking to get a 6 & an 8psi tune. I'll be running 3" Vibrant Resonator, 3" JIC Muffler, and 3" piping all the way from turbo back. I also added a skunk 2 plenum spacer. The rest is pretty much stock. Fidanza lightweight flywheel and clutch. I'll post some more vids of tuning soon!!!!!!
