Yes, there are different grades of marble but there are so much grades that you ever can mill the softer ones in different colours, no problem to find on a website of stone dealers.
This spindle is a HF spindle from Teccno Motors with 1,5 Kw.

Excellent stuff... I never thought you could do this work without water coolant. We have a HighZ1000 and are looking at the new raptor at the end of the summer. What router/spindle is on the Raptor and are there different grades to the marble (some softer than others?)

its a special VHM ( Carbide ) tool with 12mm diameter and 90 degrees angle.
If you want to order some, we have it in stock, cost 35 Euro each.
