Got ahold of this sleep apnea machine a few years back, one of the ball bearings fell apart in the brushless dc motor and fortunately i keep a stock pile of ball bearing and had an exact replacement, replaced it and now it works perfectly. After getting it working i started messing around with it and found out that it puts out quite a bit of air and as a child we had one of those hair dryers with a hose and i would put a small wooden ball in the airflow and make it spin so looked around the house for some balls and remembered that i had some of those old computer mouses that had the heavy rubber ball in them, so i peeled off the rubber, drilled a hole through it and tried it out and sure enough the airflow was strong enough to keep the ball up and in place and not only that it spun up to an amazing speed of 28,000RPMS
