This is great! I love the soundtrack added. I would love to see a sound version.

Terry's infamous comment was ironic in that Disney, prior to becoming "the Tiffany's of animation," admitted to emulating Terry's "Aesop's Fables" cartoons.
B.T.W., "Holland Days" appears to be a pun on "Hollandaise" sauce.

What the hell was he thinking? :)

Paul Terry always said, "Disney is the Tiffany's of animation. I'm the Woolworth's." He was right.

Oh, those saucy Holland Days!

Must be a VERY early Castle print...the silent Terrytoon prints I'm used to seeing have the Castle Films logo at the bottom right of the new intertitles.

Terry used a similar opening in the 1952 Mighty Mouse cartoon, "Happy Holland". "Holland Days" dates from 1934. Your "synchronized" music score wouldn't seem so out of place if Paul Terry had really used it, 'plotbox': he was notoriously cheap in using Philip Scheib's music scores, among other cost-cutting measures....
