MITT ROMNEY: What Barack Obama isn't saying to you is that John McCain is just keeping the current tax rate in place. He's not changing anything. Barack Obama says, 'Well that's a cut for these guys.'
No, no. John McCain is saying, 'Look, the tax code, as it exists now, and the rates that apply to people--leave it the same. Don't raise taxes on anybody in our society. In fact, lower taxes for middle-income individuals,' and that's why he doubles the family deduction. He also gives a $5,000 tax credit for people getting health insurance.

I'm still studying Mitt Romney, and I'm not sure I like his "RomneyCare" in MA. But you can't deny that the man knows how to create jobs and companies. Democrats (with an open mind that is) and Republicans and Libertarians like me, may do well to give him the cedit he seems to have deserved so far.

If this guy weren't Mormon he would've been the Republican nominee. That's too bad because he would've made Barack look like a chump.
