This is the second episode in a multi-part series debunking creationist claims against geology. This episode starts debunking the illusion of irreducible complexity and lays the groundwork for part 2B (atomic structure).

  • So where's the part 2B?

  • 2B is about a week away.

  • Mineral formulas aren't fixed. For example Iron can substitute for Magnesium, or Calcium, ect, depending on the mineral. You would have to take that into account, as well as the atomic structure can have imperfections.

  • That's in part 2. Trust me on this.

  • Im going to guess what youre going to say: that ANY arrangement is unique and not special. So any arrangement would be equally plausible.

  • Part 2B (almost finished) covers exclusivity and mineral formation. I was going to include it with this video, but unfortunately I have a 10 minute limit and the 2nd part really can't be broken up.

  • @thornisdan Yep. Most electronic components are based on just that principle.

  • Your Math is about Chance, evolution is not by chance. A Rocks atoms do not need to be in a correct order to be a rock.

  • @RHYMEMAIDEN1 2+2=Jesus?

  • Awesome, can't wait.

If you take requests on part 3, I'd like to see more evidence against the flood.

  • ba ha ha.... this is exactly the sort of argument i like to use.

it seems pretty impressive to work out probabilities that things could have happened just how they did, and then say, "see? that means God must have purposely done it that way, because it couldn't have happened by chance."

but *everything* that happens is extraordinarily unlikely. and yet *something* always happens. amazing.

  • Everyone of us alive has won at least one lottery :P

  • Like claiming the lottery was fixed because the arrangement of numbers was so improbable.

  • ohhhhh math

    nope

    sorry you just lost me
