1) install 5D Mark II with 24-105/4L IS USM @105mm on tripod
2) using 2-axis hot shoe buble align camera
3) turn off autofocus and IS then focus on birch tree
4) set exposure and turn video recording on
5) after 2 seconds use ballheads knobs to fix the ball

You can see how strong camera nod was.

  • apparently the camera drooped a bit when you "turned the knob". were you tightening it or loosening it? were you supporting the camera while doing so? as long as you can position-tighten-let go, then it doesn't droop, then it lives up to expectations yeah?
