I'll start off by saying it's well arranged and performed.

However, I feel that by making it so upbeat, you kind of defeat the purpose of the song in the first place.

The original makes me want to cry. This, well. Makes me a different sort of sad.

the quality of audio is terrible but the voice is good. Only, this is the Elvis' one...not the Ray Charles' version. The original was a "blues" and this is a rock just like Presley's one

Sorry bud. This song is WRITTEN IN STONE. No one will ever do it justice but Ray Charles in the original recording. That's just the way it is. This "swamp Pop" sounding version really butchers the song. There are just some things that shouldn't be done. And some songs that should just be left alone. One other one I can thing of, is "Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime" by Dean Martin. Songs like these are just monuments and can't be changed or done by others.
