@tsolmos my 100cc reed valve used to go up to 18,000 rpm. it required a rebuild every 4 running hours

It's called idling you dumb aussie. I run on dirt ovals with my KT and I turn 14-16K average. Sounds like your still running a sportsman can on yours. So shut up, and let people with KT's with pipes kick your ass and show you how it's done.

It's amazing to me how little knowlage people have about kart racing, I've been racing karts for six years,(I moved up to Micro Sprints this year), and i know that it's not unusual to see a race kart rev up to 16,000rpm.

if your gonna rev it on a stand like that make sure that once u hit the accelerator, hit the brake after it because the wheels spin too freely and can cause a blown engine...

it has a centrifugal clutch, its not direct drive, so it doesnt hurt it.
