  • I met Soupy in of all places, a mall in New Haven, CT....was he eating at some fancy restaurant? ...of course not....we were both buying a hot dog....and talking to him was like talking to an old friend...he was just Soupy....he was the real thing...God bless you Soupy

  • Soupy was the greatest. Always kind to his fans. He was smart, quick witted, and generous.

I feel honored and lucky to have had been able to meet him, when he was on his show at channel 5, and later on in comedy clubs. He had a hugh following in N.Y. Both kids and adults loved him.

He was warm and kind hearted. Too bad, he was not know by kids today. They surely missed out. He will be missed.

  • Soupy aka Milton Soupman was at my house several times for a backyard BBQ. He was a gentleman. I used to be in the studio at times, to enjoy the broadcast. I sat 20 feet from him. I will miss him a lot, as well as ALL the pioneers of TV during that era. I overheard one of these pioneers say "Video tape was the worst thing ever invented" I would tend to agree, as today's performers could never do LIVE television. Today's TV is too sterilized.

    RIP Milton

  • I love soupy and I'm 16 ;-) ...just saying....

  • THE GREATEST! GOD BLESS YOU SOUPS.

  • COWABUNGA, Soupy...we watched you every afternoon when we came home from High School !!!!!!

  • thank you for this, i miss soupy, white fang, blacktooth, and Pookie! rest in peace,Soupy you are missed by many

  • I watched him growing up in NYC and finally got to meet him at an autograph show not too many years ago. Unfortunately, this was after he had had a stroke; but it was still an honor to meet him... one of the funniest guys ever!

  • I want someone to post the story about the kiddy show host who was told his show was going to get cancelled and then went on the air to get kids to protest. The event was satirized on "Huckleberry Hound", I think.

  • GREAT THANK YOU FOR POSTING

  • I ACTUALLY SAW THIS ON TV! The only reason why I didn't go ahead with it was because I wasn't pleased with just a postcard from Puerto Rico.
