I can totally agree with you. I have a 130 TD5 crew cab, a real nice bus and I'm impressed with it very much. However, I probably wouldn't take it or brave it like my old series 2A Diesel 2.25. I had McNamara diff lock in the reat axles of it too, and it has served me well over the years. I still got it too sitting my father's back yard.
Well, it's good to see another Series 2A enthusiast who can bear testimony to their reputation.

I've drivin almost all Land Rovers (not series 1 :( ) and honestly, all the newer once beat the series both on and off road, New Range Rover with airsuspension, it's a dream :) But when it comes to my heart, nothing beats my old Series II :)
