Don't know how you can Call the Buzzcocks post-punk. they were punk. Ever fallen in Love came out in 78 at the height of the first wave of punk. Take it back.

The original by The Buzzcocks was just another post-punk song sung by an ugly dude who couldn't really sing. FYC turned it into a dark anthem full of suppressed despair with a stunning vocal by the gifted Roland Gift.
