@6MemoryOfForever9 A piano teacher never memorizes the accompaniment (played by the orchestra in a real performance). Why would s/he? It's not done.

@6MemoryOfForever9 As a piano teacher, he's not going to have every piece of music memorized. Taking piano lessons, you only learn a few songs at a time, making it easy to memorize.

@6MemoryOfForever9 I have to admit I don't memorize well either - I actually read better - kids are kind a of amazing that way...

@6MemoryOfForever9 Of course. he is the accompanist here. :-) The accompanist always uses the book, even when (s)he is on stage. :-)
