@ionflaoz, the main things you'll have to know is quantity to be dispensed, day supply in retail. In hospital, which is where I am, you mainly have to know the strength per volume (mg/mL). The math is self-explanatory, just don't over think it and you'll be fine.

@searchingforpv, absolutely! Learn your conversion train (kg-g-mg-mcg), mL to tsp and tbsp, know how to convert grains to grams or milligrams.
