15 Nov 2006 - For decades, Vietnam and the U.S. have wrangled over responsibility for the U.S. military's use of Agent Orange during the Vietnam War. Thirty-one years after the fall of Saigon, the U.S. and Vietnam are preparing a joint program to cleanup remaining "hotspots," while sidestepping the more divisive issue of victim compensation -- for now. @VIETNAMSAIGON75 Hey take that chip off your shoulder, America owes Vietnam compensation. Sadly the money won't go to the victims it will line the pockets of VC I agree on that point. I don't agree with you that these are caused by Chemical fertilizers. AO is still in the soil, and to deny that that is the main reason of Birth defects is a slap in the face for the Americans that saved your ass, and a kick in the teeth for the Victims of that nasty chemical.

This is just a propaganda for money conducted by the communist authority in Vietnam since there are more and more cancer and birth defect cases as a direct result from increasing pollution and abuse of chemical fertilizers and pesticides in Vietnam, not from agent orange, which toxicity should be reduced with time.
