How to Set Up Minecraft 1.8 Pre-Release (not the server)

Read Description before/during/after the video thank you.

Ok so first thing is the download link for 1.8

http://assets.minecraft.net/1_8-pre/minecraft.jar

1: Open Minecraft and run it normally then close out.

Now for the pasting of the new file in the folder

1: Download link (obviously)
2: Save to Desktop or wherever easier for you
3: Click on Start Button (bottom left corner button thing)
4: Type in %appdata%
5: Click on "Roaming" file
6: Open ".minecraft" file
7: Open "bin" file
8: Delete both file that say "minecraft and minecraft-1.7.3"
9: Move new file there.
10: Enjoy Minecraft 1.8 Pre-Release

Window 98, XP, and all the others follow these steps

1: Download link (obviously)
2: Save to Desktop

3A: Click on Run, If you DO NOT HAVE THIS OPTION FOLLOW THIS LINK

i dont have a minecraft- 1.7.3 file plx help

@samuelsword2 ok well i can try to help, in the folder delete all the ones that have minecraft in it then just move the other file from the download into it and run the game normally and wala it should work

Can you move your 1.7.3 world and switch it with your 1.8 world?
