Animal Crossing-Finding A Ghost

My sister was just playing around on animal crossing and she was running around and then a voice said: please....help me!I beg of you!then we all got scared and i grabbed the camera and started video taping then the voice said:I know your in a rush but please lend your time to me! and then he popped out and asked her to collect 5 sprits. and we collected the 5 sprits(i diden't get it on tape though)and he asked her what she wanted for her reward and the choices were:no more weeds,i forget and give me stuff. and i told her to pick no more weeds, but she picked give me stuff and so he gave her an ugly shirt!

If you go to the south-east corner of your town on a Monday at 8:00 PM, then Whisp comes and asks you for a lamp. You will find it in your attic. Then he will grant you one of three wishes: for all the weeds to be gone, for all the cockroaches to be gone, or a random item.

Is this Animal Corssing for gamecube because when I played it and there was a ghost (on gamecube Animal Corrsing) the ghost's name was "???" and I think it looked like boo from Mario but it was so long ago it might be diff - but the name..? Hmm xD

After you caught the 5 spirits he grants you I think 3 wantings that you can pick, like: Weed Picking, Roof Color.. something like that. Its pretty awesome. but mostly freaky x_x.
