Caryl Churchill so well blindly understands Arabs and so grossly stereotypes Jews. Such primordial hatred spewed - the cowardly kind. The kind that was quiet when 6 million Jews were slaughtered in Germany - the kind who does not see Darfur, Afghanistan and the hundreds of other places where Moslem extremism is stamping any other form of thought or culture.

The people performing this play are precisely the kind of people who would have spoken out against Nazi attrocities, and continue to speak out against attrocities today.

You would go a long way to find a less racist group of people.

I don't think the particants in this play or group are racist at all. I think they are well intentioned but I don't think they have enough depth or knowledge of the conflict to recognize how they are being subtely used to present a one sided view of the conflict ie have unwittingly become propagandists.

The way this play develops to portray jews as having gone full circle with Nazi's is quite insidious and subtle.Reality is most holocaust survivors raised families without talking about their experiences for 50 years.There's an oversimplification & one sided bias in their presentation against Israel and failure to recognize the arab role in this conflict and repeated wars and terror campaign waged against Israel.
